In the morning, our Suzhou tour guide will pick you up at your hotel lobby in Suzhou downtown or Suzhou train station, you will find a welcome signage “Suzhou Private Tour”. Your will be transferred to Lake Tai Dongshan (around 1 hour driving for one way).

After arrived at Lake Tai, the first stop is “Dongshan Qi Garden”, admire the three treasures in it and stroll down the halls and pavilions, having a good taste of essence of the ancient private garden by the Taihu Lake. Qi Garden, known as “Xi Family Garden”, was built by Xi Qisun in memory of his ancestors once welcoming Emperor Kangxi here.
Highlights: "East Mountain Kangxi Emperor Dock", "Ancient Liu Yi Well" and "Ancient Red Bayberry Trees" are the 3 treasures of Qiyuan. Move on to Luxiang Ancient Village. It is known as the highest quality and best preserved village of Taihu Lake, has a history of 800 years, built in the South Song Dynasty. The national key unit of cultural relics protection, as one of the “two and a half halls of arhat sculptures in the world”, the “Zijin Convent” can be found here.
In the afternoon, continue your tour to visit the first studio building in Jiangnan (south China) —“Carving Pattern Building”, appreciating the carving art in forms of “brick, wood, stone, and gold”. The charming of “The Ninth Cave in the World” - Wood House Cave.
