Brief Introduction
Suzhou Lili Ancient Town, once known as Lihua (Pear Blossom) village and neighboring Luxu ancient town in the east, is a captivating old river hidden in Suzhou's corner of Wujiang district and has been notable for its picturesque landscape and historic relics such as distinctive old valleys and antiquated architecture. It is the hometown of Liu Yazi (1887-1958), a Chinese poet and social activist known as "the last most outstanding poet of the traditional school" in China.
