Day 1

In the morning, take the bullet train from Suzhou to Huangshan (aroun 3.5 hrs). Once arrived, our tour guide will pick you up at the exit of the train station with a welcome signage "Huangshan Private Tour". And escort you to the hotel for check in.

After short break, your tour start. Your first stop is Hongcun Village, the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Site, located at the foot of the southwest side of Mt. Huangshan. It is praised as the most beautiful village in China as the ancient village in the Chinese painting. Also the location for the famous prize film "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon". With lush green hills and lotus-covered ponds and lakes, Hongcun is a truly beautiful place, enchanting thousands of visitors every year.

Along with Xidi, UNESCO declared Hongcun World Heritage Site in 2000, a title that the village absolutely deserves. The unique quality and impressive value of traditional Hui architecture make Hongcun one of the most important and well preserved cultural heritage sites for vernacular Chinese architecture. Not to mention the incredibly beautiful landscape and scenery of the region, which is one of the most famous and appreciated in China.

The most picturesque, renowned feature of Hongcun is the Moon Pond, which is located in the center of the village. Shaped like a crescent moon ( a reoccurring shape in Chinese villages to emanate good fengshui), this small artificial pond was created to supply the villagers with water. The blue sky and jagged edges of the Hui houses reflect off the water, creating stunning reflections in the ripples and an enchanting beauty that is peculiar in the ancient setting of a vernacular place, designed for utility rather than elegance.

Later, you'll head to Tunxi Ancient Street, which is noted as the Living "Riverside Scene at Qingming Festival". Tunxi Ancient Street, with hundred years history, is the best persevered old street in China in the style of the Southern Song Dynasty, Ming and Qing Dynasties. It is composed of 1 main street, 3 bystreets and 18 alleys with more than 300 Hui-style architectures. You can take a leisure stroll along the old street to enjoy Huizhou culture, immerse in the fragrance of tea and ink and taste some local snacks...

Next comes an interesting visit to Hu Kaiwen Ink-stick Factory to find out how ancient Chinese people produce ink sticks (major item used to write and paint in ancient time).

Drive you back to your hotel.

Day 2

After breakfast, our tour guide will meet you at your hotel lobby and drive you to Yellow Mountain (around 1.5 hrs). to Tangkou Town (the foot of Mount Huangshan), the UNESCO World Heritage Sites and one of the most beautiful mountains in China. Your memorable Huangshan trip starts!

Then take the cableway to upper beautiful sightseeing area of Huangshan Mountain. Later, visit the North Sea Scenic Area, which is famous for marvelous precipitous peaks, beautiful giant pine trees and far-reaching vision. Walk to lofty Begin-to-Believe Peak (1668m) to stretch your eyesight over cloud seas to far distance, and then hike about 40 minutes to Dispelling Cloud Pavilion to look down the Dreamland - West Sea Grand Canyon. Walk down along the stone steps to the bottom of the canyon while enjoying the Avatar-like rising rock peaks, unfathomable cliffs, bizarre stones and tenacious pine trees.

The famed Four Wonders are 4 unique views belonging to Mount Huangshan, namely Strange Pines, Absurd Stones, Sea of Clouds and Hot springs respectively. There are hundreds of rare pine trees in Huangshan. As one of the landmarks of Huangshan, the most famous Guest-Greeting Pine stretches out for about 10 meters (33 feet) from the sheer cliffs, like an usher in a respectful greeting gesture. The absurd stones can be seen almost on every peak of Huangshan Mountain. From different viewing angles, the stones look like human beings, animals or other objects. Accordingly, they are given different vivid names such as Monkey Stone and Flying over Stone. Sea of Clouds is known for its beauty, scarcity, marvelousness, and flexibility. You would be lucky to see this rarely seen scenery as it only occurs around 50 days in a year. The whole mountain is as pretty as a huge ink-wash painting when enveloped in the misty clouds. Looking at the floating clouds pouring down from mountaintops will highlight your Huangshan trip. 

As one of the four wonders, the Hot springs keep an average temperature of around 42.5? (108.5?) averagely all year round. Taking a bath in hot spring while appreciating the wonderful natural landscapes will not only refresh your body and mind, but also help get away from the fatigue after a tiring Huangshan hiking.

After dinner, free on your own for the rest of the day. Stay overnight on the top of mountain.

Day 3

Get up early to enjoy the magnificent sunrise from Huangshan. After the sunrise, get back to your hotel for breakfast.

Continue on your wonderful sightseeing on the Yellow Mountain to see the famous Dawn Pavilion, Stone Monkey Watching the Sea on the Lion Peak (1690m). Then walk along the wood path to the cable station to take a cable car to exit the mountain. Your driver is ready at the mountain foot to transfer you back to Huangshan City for lunch.

After lunch, drive you back to Huangshan train station and your tour ends.
