Day 4

After breakfast, your tour guide will meet you in the hotel lobby and drive you to the Wuxi Lingshan Buddha Scenic Area (approximately a 1.5-hour drive).

Upon arrival, you will begin your visit with the Lingshan Grand Buddha, one of the largest and most awe-inspiring Buddhist monuments in China. Standing at an impressive 71 meters tall, this massive bronze statue of Sakyamuni is not only taller than the Grand Buddha at Leshan by 17 meters but also an iconic example of Buddhist architecture and art. The Lingshan Buddha was completed between 713 and 803 during the Tang Dynasty and depicts Maitreya Buddha, the Buddha of the future. Your next stop will be the Nine-Dragon Fountain, located in front of the towering Buddha. At 10:00 AM every day, the fountain springs to life with a beautiful orchestral display. The sound of trombones plays in harmony with the song "The Birth of Buddha," and as the music flows, a 7.2-meter gold-gilt statue of a prince rises from the blooming lotus with six petals. The statue, one hand reaching to the sky and the other pointing to the earth, represents the Buddha’s presence in the world, radiating enlightenment to all things.

Finally, your visit will conclude at the Brahma Palace on Lingshan Mountain. Opened to the public in 2008 after two years of construction, the Brahma Palace is an architectural marvel that blends traditional Chinese cultural elements with Western influences.
